COMMON QUESTIONS

During the Sunday morning service, your little ones will be well looked after by our nursery volunteers in the rooms equipped especially for them (located near the south entrance). All children from newborn to age 3 are welcome. The nursery doors will be open throughout the worship services.

At the north entrance, you'll notice our Kids Church table with our teacher standing by to sign in your kids. Fill out a registration form, sign in, grab a printed name tag, and you're good to go! Kids Church begins partway through the service (children are dismissed at 10:30 am) because we believe that children are an essential part of the church body, so we want them to participate with the rest of the congregation for the beginning of the service. Your kids will participate in age-appropriate activities and lessons led by a team of volunteers and our very dedicated Family Director Kaylee Moerman. Kids can be picked up after the service and are welcome to juice and treats afterwards in the hall.

Yes! We have newly installed changing stations in the bathrooms (including the men's), kept safe and sanitary every week.

We also have a separate room for nursing mothers or parents who need a break. The "Mother's Room" can be found down the hall adjacent to the sanctuary. There you will find a cozy area to rest, nursing pillows, a kid's station with books and activities, a one-way view into the sanctuary, and the live stream playing in real-time... so you don't miss out on anything.

An outdoor playground area in the back of the church is always available for use. Feel free to come by during the week and give the swings and slides a try!

Our whole building is meant to be a welcoming place for children to run, jump, and play. However, we understand this can be frustrating during the service and encourage any parents to sign their kids up for Kids Church, nursery, or use the available foyer space for some time away from the hustle and bustle.

Throughout the year at the forefront of our ministries are the events catered to young families. We love supporting not only those in the church body but the surrounding community members as well. We've held events such as family-friendly movie screenings, beach days, easter egg hunts, and free daycare around big holidays such as Christmas and Valentine's.

We also are involved in community organizations that provide care for families in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. We assist non-profits such as WomanCare, Salvation Army, and the Food Bank. You can donate to these organizations through their websites or on our donation portal under "GIVE".
