What is happening
Congregational Meeting: Due to the announcement tomorrow we are also anticipating some changes. Stay tuned. Christmas Food & Bottle Drive: You are invited to come out and support our Christmas food/bottle drive on Sunday, December 12. From 10-2 we will be collecting donations in the church parking lot. It will be a drive through experience so bring your items and drop them off from the comfort of your vehicle.
Christmas & Advent: Advent is fast approaching and we have something special in store; but we need your help! We need some drivers to deliver boxes around the neighbourhood to the church community in the next couple weeks. If you have a car and time to drive we would love if you could spend it delivering these goodies. Please email the office if you can help and we'll contact you about details in the next couple days. Church Directory: Very soon we will be starting to compile the 2021 church directory. Feel free to email the office ([email protected]) with your updated information or we will be in touch in the coming weeks with a reminder. |

Praying for Our Church Family
“I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers” (Ephesians 1:16). Following the Apostle Paul, we pray continually for one another in this church family. We pray for our leaders to be strengthened by God and led by the Holy Spirit. We pray for spiritual renewal in our congregation, along with a renewed passion and fervor to serve God with all of our lives. Please pray for Jenny Van Roekel, Emily Smith, and the other residents of Holyrood Manor. One staff person and one resident from Holyrood Manor have been diagnosed with Covid-19. All the residents of the 2nd floor (where Jenny resides) have been tested for Covid-19. Praise God that Jenny Van Roekel's Covid-19 test came back negative! Pray for healing of the two people who are sick and that the virus would not spread to the other residents and staff. As all the residents in the Manor have been isolated in their rooms, pray against loneliness and for the grace of God to come into their lives, in some way, during this difficult time. Pray for the staff, that they would feel supported by management and would have the strength to perform their daily tasks with love and care. And pray for the families of the residents who are already struggling with a difficult situation and who's already minimal contact is now even less. Johanna Bleeker passed away on November 2. Please uphold her family and friends in prayer during this difficult time. Her obituary can be found here. Thank you for praying for our church family! Please let us know if there any particular prayer requests or needs that arise.
